Regarding what IM sensros are required, it usually depends on user’s need.
Here is an example to you.

In Moldex3D injection molding laboratory, we have a test mold with pressure sensor and thermal sensor inside, in order to detect the tempature and pressure inside of test mold.

Your approach could work.

And we usually educate uers to find high volumetric shrinkage region for sink mark and inner void.
I suggest you to take both molten core result and volumetric shrinakge as reference to detect inner void.

The heat-transaction pipes supplier claims its cooling efficiency 200 times stronger than copper.
Base on this statement, we have created a bypass for it. Please refer to below link the bypass.

Operation procedure
1. Build heat-transaction pipe and assign it “mold insert” attribute.
2. In process wizard, create a new mold insert material which has 200 times higher thermal conductivity than copper.
3. Assign heat-transaction pipe(mold insert) new material property

1. Weld line output is still there. Could you check again or try re-install?

2. The xml file should be the fiber orientation data from Moldflow or Sigmasoft, which is not supported by Moldex3D.

File format of Moldex3D fiber orientation data exported is o2d.

As the platform for Moldex3D Mesh, Rhinoceros has servered for many years.

Now most modeling tools of Moldex3D Mesh has migrated to Moldex3D Studio. Users could have same mesh work on Moldex3D Studio since 2023.
