The functionality you are looking for would soon be available on Moldex3D 2025.

Kindly find  “Fix Surface Mesh” –> “Sketch”  under “Mesh” tab on the interface and utilise the tool to specify each corner of your quad element.

To sketch a quad mesh, you could either specify the nodes by,

•  Simply assign each mesh node by clicking on object displayed directly.

OR

• Assign each node by giving its xyz coordinates.

Giving mechanical properties to the silicon insert could be a simple way which takes the physical properties of silicon into consideration.

Otherwise, 2K (MCM) should be more comprehensive which considers shrinkage and other chemical reactions happen to silicon component. (critical inputs for 1^st shot required)
It would better capture the interaction between silicon and PA part and finally yield warpage results through a more precise way.

The mesh elements between part insert and part itself were probably not “matching”.

Try to regenerate the mesh, and it should start running on your server.
Tip to create “matching mesh” – please untick “Allow non-matching faces” at preference setting interface.
