1. The reason Chrome needs to be installed on the iSLM Server is for solution list screenshot purposes.
2. After 2025R1, in addition to Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge can also be chosen as the required software to download.
3. Microsoft Office 2019 or Office 365 :  To preview files in Office format and generate reports after Simulation Workflow、Export the mold tryout PPT report

You can modify the port to resolve this issue.

Below are the steps to modify the port:

Use iSLM StartUp Tool to update iSLM server Port

1. Menu: Service

2. Select “Gateway” and load the current Gateway Service setting

3. Modify “Port” section to the target Port and then click “Save”

The Quality Dashboard can be configured in iSLM under Data Define > Classification > Quality Dashboard. If you want users to be able to edit values, select “Can be modified in Solution Management by User” when creating it. This will allow values to be edited on the Run page.

If you want to change the administrator password, please open the iSLM Startup Tool and click on “Password” to enter a new password.  Please note that the password length must be between 5 and 16 characters.

After completing the installation of iSLM, please sign in to iSLM using the default account credentials:

• Account: administrator
• Password: Moldex3D@islm

Click the “Run Analysis” button to reanalyze the mold tryout using the analysis process of this solution and obtain the results.

The following conditions must be met for a successful analysis:

1. The mold tryout must have an Original CAE Run set, and the run must be analyzed using Machine Mode.
2. All necessary molding conditions must be filled in the tryout record, including:
   • Basic: Material, Machine
   • Temperature: Melt temperature, Mold temperature
   • Injection: Pressure, Position, Velocity, VP
   • Packing: Pressure, Time
   • Cooling: Time
3. The molding conditions must fall within a reasonable range.

Additionally, if the button has been clicked to reanalyze previously, a message box will appear asking whether to clear the previous data before running the analysis again.

After selecting an Advisor in Mold Tryout Record, an asterisk will appear on the tab title, indicating that there are required fields on those pages to facilitate the trial mold guidance process.

1. “Division” refers to the department you belong to within an organization or company, while “Team” consists of members from different divisions who are brought together to collaborate on a solution or a  specific project. Additionally, the biggest difference is that an account can belong to only one division but can be added to multiple teams.

2. Whether it is Division or Teams, the solution primarily depends on the role permissions set for the account. If the role permission is set to View Only, then the permissions for both Division and Teams will also be View Only, regardless of their individual settings.
