RE: What determines whether Melt Front Time or Melt Zone result will be displayed?
I got a Warning message W111557 with my CM project, but I don’t understand the message completely, can I ignore the warning?
!!! WARNING W111557 : ( Moldex3D/Solid-Enhanced Flow: 2024 Build 2024.2409.520.3814 )
Sympton:
Solver detected the under-cut structure inside the compression zone according to the geometry and compression direction.
Solution:
For the numerical simulation stability, the melt zone will be output as the display item instead of the melt front time. Please increase and adjust the output option to fit the simulation animation for your need.
When there is under-cut structure detected in the part, the result would show melt zone instead of melt front time results to avoid overwriting the time record for the same area.
When the normal direction is 85° to the compression direction, undercut structure is detected.
It just shows a warning and suggestion to increase timestep output for smoother display, but it won’t affect the calculation, so yes, it can be ignored if the displayed results look ok.
